There wasn't much progress this week, unfortunately. I am still 1cm dilated and 50% effaced (same as last week), although the doctor said that the baby had dropped lower. Needless to say I was very disappointed, since I've been walking a lot this week, and I've certainly been feeling like I've made progress. But, as the doctor said, I still have a week before the official due date (7/29), so I shouldn't worry about it.
So, I went and got my haircut, had lunch with Gary, and went to Ikea to exchange the changing pad I bought earlier this week. There is a good chance that we'll go see the movie "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" this weekend, and maybe get to check out the house our friends are thinking about buying.

I've heard that they are all born eventually.
Posted by: Jessica at July 22, 2005 09:18 PMThanks to more generous nutritional guidelines, children tend be to born with higher birthweights (on average) than in previous generations.
Jen would like to have him out while he's still under eight pounds! Having been a 10 pounder myself and having heard my mother's stories a few dozen times, I can't say I blame her.
