It occurred to me recently that I could upload video footage from my camera to YouTube, a public repository of home movies (among other things). So I hereby present my first video clip of Elliot, taken yesterday afternoon. I had many technical difficulties getting the file uploaded and processed, some of which may not have yet been worked out. But I hope it works.

Do you think he knows which way he's directing the car, or is he doing it at random?
Posted by: Jessica at March 1, 2007 05:38 PMIt works. Very cool. I hope you're all doing well.
Posted by: Brian at March 2, 2007 06:58 AMIt's completely random, I'm sure. There is only one button on the control, which alternates between moving forward and turning. It takes a bit of thinking ahead to get the car to go where you want it to go.
I chose this clip more because it was relatively short and available on my computer, not because it was particularly interesting.
Posted by: Jen at March 2, 2007 07:11 AMIt's amazing and he's adorable. Thank you!
Posted by: NM at March 2, 2007 08:53 AMHow adorable he looks. We can't get over how much he's grown in the past few months. That's so very clever for a child his age to be able to direct a little car. Do we have a genius in the family? Hope that you are all doing fine and that the new 'wee one' is resting comfortably and getting ready to make her appearance in a few months.
