YouTube experiment

It occurred to me recently that I could upload video footage from my camera to YouTube, a public repository of home movies (among other things). So I hereby present my first video clip of Elliot, taken yesterday afternoon. I had many technical difficulties getting the file uploaded and processed, some of which may not have yet been worked out. But I hope it works.

That's very nice, I guess.

Do you think he knows which way he's directing the car, or is he doing it at random?

It works. Very cool. I hope you're all doing well.

It's completely random, I'm sure. There is only one button on the control, which alternates between moving forward and turning. It takes a bit of thinking ahead to get the car to go where you want it to go.

I chose this clip more because it was relatively short and available on my computer, not because it was particularly interesting.

It's amazing and he's adorable. Thank you!

How adorable he looks. We can't get over how much he's grown in the past few months. That's so very clever for a child his age to be able to direct a little car. Do we have a genius in the family? Hope that you are all doing fine and that the new 'wee one' is resting comfortably and getting ready to make her appearance in a few months.

...the first inklings of personal power, the power to direct things besides himself, and to figure it out eventually, at such a tender age!

Playing with that remote is great practice for the adult male's favorite sport of channel surfing.
